No, Flash is horribly ill suited to game making, I'm using Multimedia Fusion 2.

The hud isn't finalized, eventually it will all take up no more vertical room than then the life meter.

I really like the style, almost 3D, reminds me of the DS for some reason. Great work. And yes, the HUD text is much to big.. but overall very eye-pleasing.

 I don't really like making games in flash. Flash is ideal for movies/films.

Looks cluttered and i'm having mad depth perception problems, try to desaturate and or darken background layers

 Ack, forgot my comments. The colors look good and the tiles look nice too. It would look better if the thick outline is thinner.

actually you'd want to desaturate and lighten the background, that would give more depth perseption
