One of my favorite scenes also.
The reference pcitures shows both eyes open and you should probably get a highlight on the skin. That's all for now.

Better a crosseyed retard than a cyclops. Crow's edit is probably along the lines of what you should do. Be careful with that AAing on his hair, you're just blurring things up on the lower left (his right) part of his hair. You can probably drop a shade of green for a color between "black" and the darkest skin tone.
