Dennis, that looks very cool and useful. Btw, I also liked the turtle a lot!

I love following this thread and its spontaneous creativity, keep it up folks.

'sup RAV?

perspective construction... define units, set up camera height, define horizontal angle, vertical angle, picture plane, determine area of view, derive units for top view, derive first unit of depth, define stuff, track and place it into perspective... the tedious way:

oh I know. The downside is that you gotta be painstakingly thorough. But that is also the upside. It's maybe not what you do on every drawing of any asset, but when you do you really got it pinned down through and through with a great overview, which can be an advantage later on when you relate to it otherwise. Basically you produce a shared design document of it on the go, a great point of reference and orientation for later on. It's comparable to constructing a figure from layers of bones, muscle, clothes. And maybe even first thinking about a character's motives, worldviews, relationships before starting its visual design. So here it's first thinking purpose, inner layout & design, and giving in the end a truthful outside depiction of this deeper idea of a house. You show a structured approach to that.
