Know of any free websites for personal art gallery/portfolio?

Okay, I think I'm well over-due on making an online personal art gallery/portfolio.
Does anyone know of any good, free website hosts where I can make my site? I need one that's very easy to understand and use/edit.

wordpress could be ok.

if your serious about putting a portfolio online, for potential employers to view - it may be worth buying some space/domain.  a lot more customisable.

I would recommend buying your own space and domain (unless you know someone who can host you). That's what I did for my site (http://bluedelirium.com), and I use this webhotel: https://www.one.com/

If you know the least about webdesign and how to use an FTP (http://www.smartftp.com/), then this should be as simple as it gets. Or you could hire someone to design it for you and/or teach you how to use it *cough*

It's not really that expensive to buy a domain and some space, and you can do absolutely whatever you want with it... and without ads or other annoying stuff like that. Plus a .com address is always nice

Ensellitis has a free hosting service for pixel artists, and I think he's still accepting requests. Here's the related topic over at pixeljoint. You get good bandwidth, it's free, and the URL is http://*.ensellitis.com, not really that ugly.

its what Ive used (signature), its easy to use and has brought quite a lot of work my way.
you can upload images there but I'd recommend photobucket as its much easier to manage
