Quasi [Windows/Mac/Linux]

on: January 11, 2015, 11:45:32 pm
 Quasi >:D

Quasi is a side-view platformer style adventure game with puzzle elements.
Explore a strange world seized in mystery and discover what lies beneath its' surface.

Game is now available at http://prominent.itch.io/quasi

Hey everyone! Hope you all have been doing well. I've been working on this game for over four months now, and released it yesterday. If you all can take a look that would be great. Thanks :)

Looks really cool man.
But the price exceeds my bank account.   :blind:
Bookmarked for later.

I don't know. I'm under the impression that steam is more for games with a wider audience backing them.

updated the game with some bug fixes- one related to loading saved games.
I also changed the save system to now save at start of every level since people requested more frequent saves.

Game has been featured on itch.io!

Not sure exactly what to say here.
But I really question that.
Steam would perhaps help bring awareness to the game.

It wouldn't hurt to try, right?

Yeah, makes sense I suppose. If nothing much comes of it, the extra bit of exposure might help in some way. I'll have to look more into what is required to get a game up on there.

You will probably need 100$ and go through Greenlight.

$100!? hm.. I didn't realize there was a fee. I don't think it would make sense to spend $100 just to put a game on some website where it will eventually get buried. I need to be realistic.

They donate it to charity and it is supposed to be used to prevent spam though there is still a lot of shovelware getting past greenlight.
