ha, i wish i was mediocre then. i think the green in the pallette and the double wide pixels are what did this for me though.

What? mediocre? i not think this, I like the palette, and like the metallic efect, designt etc... its very good for me.
But i will add more things XD, more busy.

Got bored and converted it to actual c64 palette.
And then used timanthes to make this horrible hires singlecolor conversion. I actually kind of like how it looks.

I like the use of colour on the first. Really gives it the c64 feel. Forthe second, I agree with

I prefer the original palette to the c64's employment here. That said, I
really
like the original palette in general, so that may be why. Cool stuff, anyway. Neat design + nice palette + good execution = win.
