
-Learn about how to convey plasticity. Pay attention to where your light comes from and keep it consistent.
-Grass is not always green and the sky is not always blue. In fact they rarely ever are.
-You somehow use 18 colors, I use 7. Recycle colors to make things look unified.
-Forget about 50% dithering. You want every pixel to be placed deliberately. 50% dithering doesn't add detail, it doesn't add structure and is oftenly used as a crutch.
On top of that, it tends to look shitty on non-crt displays since those are so crisp that the colors won't blend and almost no one has crt monitors nowadays anymore.
-In fact, forget about single pixel shapes.
