You’ve seen the screenshots. Eve standing on a rusted ledge in Eidos 7, looking like she just stepped off a runway instead of a drop pod. Honestly, half the fun of this game isn't even parrying boss combos—it’s the fashion.
But here’s the thing: finding Stellar Blade outfit locations is a massive headache if you don’t know where to look. Some are just sitting in chests, sure. Others? You’ll have to fish them out of an oasis or solve a laser puzzle that feels like a rejected mission from Mission Impossible.
Let’s get into where these suits actually are.
The Early Game Essentials in Eidos 7 and Xion
When you first land, you’re stuck in the Planet Diving Suit (7th). It’s fine. But you want better.
Basically, the first real "hidden" suit you'll find is the Red Passion. You get this at the Construction Site in Eidos 7. You have to use the crane to smash through a specific wall on the right side. It’s easy to miss if you’re just rushing to the next boss.
Once you get to Xion, things open up. You’ll meet Roxanne. She’s the info dealer.
Roxanne is your best friend for outfits like the Cybernetic Dress and the Moutan Peony. But you can’t just buy them immediately. You have to buy her "Information" items first to raise her Affinity level. If you don't do this, her shop stays boring.
- Planet Diving Suit (2nd): Buy from Roxanne (Affinity Level 2).
- Keyhole Dress: Buy from Roxanne (Affinity Level 3).
- Black Full Dress: This one is at Lyle’s General Store. You have to finish the "Stolen Treasure" side quest first or he won't even talk to you about it.
The Wasteland: Platforming Puzzles and Hidden Rooms
The Wasteland is huge and kinda empty, but it hides some of the coolest gear.
The Cyber Magician is probably the one people talk about most because of the puzzle. It’s in the northeast corner. You have to hit a series of switches, then climb a rope to a chest. But wait—opening the chest triggers a shooting gallery. You have to shoot all the white targets. Don’t hit the red ones. If you mess up, you’re doing it again.

Then there's the Holiday Rabbit. You find this after the Corrupter boss fight. It’s tucked away in a chest in the Buried Ruins area.
If you’re looking for the Sporty Yellow suit, you need to head to the Forbidden Area. This is part of the "Life of the Scavengers" quest. You’ll fight a Brute, and the suit is your reward in the room behind it. Simple, but the fight can be a bit of a wall if you haven't upgraded your gear.
Don't Forget the Great Desert and Matrix 11
Matrix 11 is dark, cramped, and full of jump scares.
The Daily Mascot (the one that looks like a weird frog-bear thing) is in the Underground Sewer. You’ll see a Fusion Cell, and suddenly Naytibas burst through a wall. Kill them, then walk into the hole they just made. The chest is right there.
The Great Desert is where you find the Blue Monsoon.
You get this through the "Precious Treasure" request on the bulletin board. It’s located on a collapsed overpass. You have to shoot some fuel barrels next to a bus to make the bus fall over, creating a ramp. It’s a bit of a trek, but the view (and the suit) is worth it.
Fishing and Collecting: The Long Game
Some outfits aren’t in chests. They’re rewards for your obsession with collectibles.
- Black Pearl: You have to find all 49 cans. Every. Single. One. Once you do, go to the Tetrapod and claim it.
- Ocean Maid: You need to catch all 25 types of fish. Talk to Clyde at the Oasis once your fishing log is full.
- Tidal Maid: This is a weird one. You actually have to fish for it while wearing the Ocean Maid suit and using Strange Bait.
New Game Plus and the Recent Updates
If you’ve already beaten the game, you aren't done.
Most chests in New Game Plus (NG+) contain a "variant" or a "recolor" of the original suit. If you didn’t get the original in your first run, the chest will just give you the base version.
Recently, Shift Up added even more suits like the Neurolink Suit and the Crimson Wings. Some of these are tied to the Boss Challenge mode. For example, the Royal Guard Suit requires you to beat Mann in the Boss Challenge on at least Normal difficulty. It’s a tough fight, but the suit is arguably one of the most detailed in the game.
Making Sense of the Materials
Finding the schematic is only half the battle. You still have to craft them.
Most suits require:
- Extreme Polymer Material (25)
- Advanced Polymer Material (50)
- Polymer Material (75)
You can find these in crates or buy them from D1G-g2r in the Scrap Yard once you fix him up. Honestly, just buy them. Farming them from random crates takes way too long.
Common Mistakes Most Players Make
People often forget that some suits are locked behind "points of no return."
Once you agree to go to the Space Center with Adam, a lot of the side quests in Xion become unavailable. If you haven't finished "Encounter" for Kaya or "Memories in the Doll" for Jett, you’ll lose out on the Sky Ace and Fluffy Bear suits until your next playthrough.
Check your bulletin board often. If a quest mentions a "treasure" or a "lost item," there’s a 90% chance there’s a Nano Suit at the end of it.
To ensure you don't miss anything, always keep a "point of no return" save file before heading to Spire 4. Use the Repair Console at any camp to check your "Nano Suit" tab; if it's not crafted, it won't show up in your equipment menu, even if you found the schematic. Double-check your Affinity levels with Roxanne and Lyle by buying small items like ear pieces or consumables before you leave Xion for good. Finally, make sure to enable "Seasonal Content" in the settings if you're looking for the holiday-specific outfits like the Santa Dress.
