[WIP]Oozaru - DBOII

Greetings fellow pixel artists!

I'm currently working in my free time on Dragonball Online II found at: www.dboteam.com (forum only untill the game goes live).

Basically It's the first time I'm working on art this big, only did up to 96x96 but mainly 32x32. Now the easy thing was that I actualy picked up the job after someone(tets) who already did the front state. I did a few changes to it as you can see and made a side view. However as far as my amateur abilities go, I've reached my limit.

If you take a look at the 2nd state I tried changing the outline to resemble furr, I'm trying to avoid puting any detailed texture of the body/hair to keep it simple and to match the games style but thats not a must. As I mentioned earlier my abilities end here and so I ask of you for any help on this piece is it shading or shape or texture. I'd apprieciate any contribution, even those very detailed ones as I will surely learn from them.

What I can see that the shape has to change in few places like the arms on front and side but to what position I don't see it. C&C highly appreciated!


As reference I have used practically every picture google had in its possession.

Here's a quick edit! Mostly just cleaned up some of the pixeling on the hand and foot on the right and on the face, also the ear on the left. Also did some palette editing. Sorry this isn't longer, really tired, gotta hit the hay, but if you have any questions about what I did let me know!

Well the side view doesn't really match the oblique perspective on the front-down view sprite since it captures the character stance on a perfect 90 angle. For a perfect match, one should be able to see a bit of the character's right shoulder and the top of the head.
