Cool Blue Creature it kinda looks like a pokémon to me

It looks flat (Im sure most people will say it's flat)
Make your colors more saturated? I think thats the word, and pick a light source(usally top right/left) and shade how the shadows would
look.

Cool pixel guy though  :hehe:

It's a cool critter!  :)

I like the speckled belly too, but I think you need more difference in brightness between the lightest and darkest colour, that way you could round it out more/ give it volume. Hope this helps.

I tried but it looked a bit messy :\
And thanks on the comment, I might do an animation soon..

Oh ok. Least you tried :)

If it helps though, when I'm doing light and shadow (with pixel or pens, doesn't matter) I break complicated shapes into spheres and cubes in my head so its easier to know where shading should go.

edit: and good luck with the animation :)

Thanks! I really only expected one post at the most on this thread posting;
"You need advice? Get out of pixel art."

:\
A lot more supportive then I expected, haha :)
I think I will start the animation tonight, but if it doesn't work out don't blame me, haha.

Thats a pretty good animation you got there.
I don't really like the yellow out line.

Here is an example for you to look at its not that great but there it is

Thanks, I am extremely new to this stuff, haha.
The yellow outline is just for fun, haha and kind of looks cool, it is not exactly part of the piece :)
I really like what you've done their :) I will definitely look at it when I edit some more.
