rehugun what do you say about this original by Elk?
My bad, credited him on PJ thought I did here also. What does neoseeker have to do with anything? I apologize, but there's not a need to take it further.

I think this is a misunderstanding.

Ryumaru said "Are these your own creations or from something," as if to say did he design them, or is it an existing character (at least that's how I interpreted it). It is rehugun's design. He made the small sprite, and elk did the drawing from that. In the pixeljoint submission he states that the art he's basing it on was by elk.

Stop blowing this out of proportion.

Very nice if it is your own! Agreeing with Ryumaru above though that it could need some variation in terms of colors, maybe it's porportions are also a bit off but that can be easily fixed!

This is the original!
Why haven't you credited me for the small sprite =/

I am a bit confused now about what's going on. Has ripping occurred or not?

No. This is misunderstanding about giving credit for references, not someone claiming someone elses artwork as their own.

I'm kind of confused but you're interpretation of what I asked was correct.

here's the run down of what happened, I made the small sprite, elk made that sketch and he said I should pixel it, so I shrunk it and made it more refined, but I forgot to give credit so he flipped out a little  bit.

I wouldn't say he flipped out, his response seemed reasonable.  The character design is yours, the art is 90% his, which is why I disagree with it being in the gallery at PJ.
