I used to do pixel art all the time a few years ago, but left it in order to improve my general art skills.
Well now I'm taking a programming class so I want to do all the graphics for my projects myself but I'm having a bit of a difficulty getting back into it.
This is a mock up I did a while ago,
It was my favorite piece I've done as it was limited to only 4 or 5 colours.
Now this is what I've been currently working on,
I don't have any characters or creatures yet, but it feels like there's an element missing. I tried bushes and trees but they didn't look right.
If I could get some suggestions of things to add and some C+C, it would be greatly appreciated.
(and I use mspaint right now, but I know there has to be some better stuff out there if you could point me in the right direction)
