it doesn't make sense for production but if you consider that 1 - this is an art piece, 2 - there is no WALL, and 3 - graffiti nowadays is more about performance and cultivating a personal image than a real product i think the pose is fine.
that said i find the DJ piece far more promising for compositional flow, colors, and believe it or not - character. the red one's attributes seem a bit gimmicky, while the green guy seems more interesting for his unadorned look.
a crit on the red guy - the solid, weighty quality of the spray is counterintuitive, which i think was the point, but i think in this case it brings an awkwardness rather than a fresh twist.
some crits on the green guy - the hard verticals of the green and even the fairly rigid lines of the setup are at odds with the piece - i'd suggest maybe some overdone perspective on them or to work with some sort of cartoony distortion for "showing the sound." Also, we might go to different parties, but the DJs I know don't often sit
