It's allways interesting to learn something new, so yes, I wan to know how to make him more real.
Get rid of the white lines. They're not needed. If you're worried about needing an edge defined then there isn't a big enough difference between your base color and your shading.
Use a darker red and a darker blue, and then add a "shine" to the glass & metal.
Here's an example of some old work of mine that I did to make a window look like glass:

It's not perfect, but I think you get the idea.
I was going to show you an example of a metallic object I made around the same time as that window, but sadly I was a fool back then and most of my art was saved as .jpg files.
