Awesome work here.
Just a few minor things that irk me however:
Sprite:
The darkest shade on your fighter sprite doesn't work well in the selout.
Portrait:
I think 'her' left breast could be more rounded at the bottom, because at the moment it goes from a straight line to a diagonal.
Also, the Spear on the full Portrait has a really weird perspective in relation to the rest of the sprite, and I think could do with being skewed to the right of screen quite a lot.
Otherwise awesome.

love it all, except for the legs. I think you lost it there. The distortion on the legs, special being that the sprite has such thick legs apears to be excessive. if the legs would be ok, the arm closest to us would be alot bigger.
other then that, I love the shading and colors!!! thumbs up!

Image size doesn't matter! It's what you do with your pixels that counts!

Thanks for the comments,
many good points brought up, which I agree with.
I tried detailing the hair, but it turned out crappy. If anyone wants to take a try at it, go ahead.
The perspective on the legs was an afterthought after I had sketched in the body. I realized I would of had alot to pixel if I wanted to pixel her whole character, so I thought, why not make the view looking down at her, that way I'd end up haveing the legs small so it is less to pixel, plus it would have a neat angle and make things alot more dynamic.
The thighs could probably be thicker, but I wasn't certain how thick before the perspective wouldn't look right. If we were to look from the sides, the hip diameter would seem larger than it is now in comparison to the shoulders which at this view is larger..
anyways, alot can be better, but at this point I'm too tired from working on this.
here's my attempt at the hair:

That hair looks great. I think you could add some more highlights though.
Nobody is perfect. I'm nobody.

o_____O awesome, I have nothing to say.. well maybe the legs look a bit too far, comparing them to the top part of the body, but I'm not sure..

Holy crap, man. That metal thing on her hand is amazing. Something about the sprite bothers me though, maybe it's the dark outlines.
