Sprite for a water balloon drop game (need crits)

on: December 29, 2005, 09:55:45 am
I am making a custom water balloon drop game and I was wondering if anyone can critique on a line art of this sprite I made for it. I am not good at line art really so this is the best that I can do.

EDIT: I forgot to post the image, so here.

I'm not quite sure whats going on with the arms there.
is (his) right arm raised or is it unfinished?

Raised, most definitely... I think.
Left arm seems dislocated.
You're not the only one who can't do good line-art.  ;)

On another note, he seems a bit chubby. I hope that's what you were going for.

It's raised, heh. When I try for an SD kinda look, it's pretty hard getting his torso and pelvis to match the size of the head.

His ear is way too long and starts way too low. Also, his left arm seems much bigger than his right.
Maybe you can try moving the part in his hair over to the right one pixel as well. And maybe move his mouth one pixel to the left.
