Good work so far. i like how smooth it is, but one thing that seems off to me is the highlights on the leg closest to us. when they blink out and come back in, it looks funny. the legs sort of blend together at the passing position. Maybe use the highlight color for the whole leg, and leave it like that? maybe a bit unrealistic but i think its worth a try. I would edit, but I'm short of time right now. Just a nitpick, otherwise great.  :y::D

There is something very strange in the way the ends of the shorts stay perfectly level. Shouldn't they move with the leg?
never pretend to be drunker than you really are

The near leg seems to swap behind the far leg as they switch positions. The lighting as you have it is probably more accurate, but man, who needs accuracy - I think it'd read better, be easier to keep track of which leg is the close one, if you kept the hilights on the near leg constant across all the frames.

Just popping in to say great progress!  You started with something that was full of classic beginner walkcycle issues and you've advanced on to make something much more naturalistic and believable.  Nice job!
