Wow. First of all, don't throw stones. Pleaaaase don't !
Those are dolls. Yes, I know it's not much appreciated down there, but I try to go to "more pure" pixel art. I mean no base, landscapes etc.

Ok, first, dolls with bases from other dollers.

Base Base 2 Base 3 & 4

Here are dolls on my own bases:

These are bases I made, oldest to newest -I know it's really static and all but well...-:

Last two are a few days old; I hadn't pixellated for months :(

And last.. my first iso pixel, and errr Mr ol'snowman. Oh, and my avvy is my pixelated me !

Okay, now you can throw your stones, I'm ready.

not pixel-related but just a BBCode thing, your links should be formatted as such:
Code: [Select]
[url=http://www.apitchou.com]Base[/url] [url=http://www.mariiii.de]Base 2[/url] [url=http://dollkat.free.fr]Base 3 & 4[/url]there shouldn't be any quotation marks or multiple instances of http:// in each url tag :)

You dolls seem to suffer the same issues that most dolls suffer from:  bad colours, low contrast, banding and some strange anatomy

I have made a pretty quick edit of one of your newest bases. I have increased the contrast, hue shifted your colours a bit more, played around with some of the dithering , including smoothing up her breasts (the dithering gave them a weird...furry kind of texture):

There is still a lot that can be worked on here. This is mainly a quick overhaul of the colours.

No offense, but what is bad in my colors? oO
I mean, what you did is different, she looks err sick, more like a zombie xD Or a "pale african" maybe ?
Well I do like it with more contrast, but the colors disturb me, dunno why.
Thanks anyway !

you don't have to use my colours, I just picked them fairly quickly. The edit is just to give you an idea of what can be done. Remember: I am not making your pixel art for you, this is your art, and you should just be looking at edits as just visual advice on what could possibly make your pieces better :).

Feel free to completely ignore my advice if you really want.

The problem with your colours is that they were very washed out and the outline was a very saturated orange. Human skin isn't usually saturated orange unless you've spent too long in a tanning salon.

I did a quick (ie, completely unrefined, just sketched) edit over skamocore's edit, just to reinforce his points about the shading/lighting (I redid some of the shading to reflect a somewhat overhead lightsource instead of the front-on lightsource in your original that contributed to the pillow-shaded look). I left out an edit to the top half of the head, but the rest gives a pretty good idea of what I'm pointing out.

I didn't understand the heavy shadowing underneath the eyes (cheek area) in the original, which suggested a very strange facial structure, so I made some edits to that. The highlights you place at the top of the breasts imply that the breasts extend towards the clavicle, instead of suggesting the pectorals. Additionally, I tweaked the skin color (more reds, less yellows). You might want to go for something more saturated, but skamocore's point stands, in that your original color choices are pretty washed out and lack contrast.
