[WIP] Vanthia - making MMO via www

Firstly i'd like to say hello, cuz its my first post on pixelation, and secondly excuse me mistakes i make in English - it's not my main language.
Since some time im working on a MMORPG(via WWW) project Vanthia , and sometimes i got some problems rendering some stuff. As far as i know Pixelation is the best community out here in pixelart stuff so i think you could help me a little ;)

My first attempt looked like that:

Then i redone quite everything and now it looks like that:

so the outdoor tileset is pretty much done (but sure it's not the final stage :) )

At the moment i need to make some building so the village can be done. I started by making lineart based on the concept art.

When i finished lineart i wanted to start by rendering the roof (made of straw) and i had pretty big problem with it. Tried on diffrent ways (render it as a hair, using reference image and so on) and i can't make it looks good. mb u guys could help me?

The "waves" in the first picture look more like ice. The colour is changed a lot, and it looks solid instead of a liquid.

Really bold and striking, excellent. Your trees and rocks are great.

What CaKsTeR said about the waves is true, and also, the grass is bugging me. It looks TOO bubbly for my tastes, but I guess you can pass it as a style point, because the rest of the graphics are also pretty round and full.

I don't like the grass (it looks WIP-ish; I suggest you look at the several threads dealing with grass on this site) and the water either.
Also the rocks on the dirt have an unfinished look: I'd say a bit more shading and then detailing are in order.
Trees are too small compared to the people.

Despite all of the above, it looks nice overall - you've got some serious potential there ;)

I noticed you have black outlines around all the trees but not around the shrubberies.
I really like the rocks you've done for the cliffs.

nice building
some thinks:
chimney is very big he is biggest like window ...
when start to put colours think for some round forms maybe for corners of the windows or door or something which aren't so quadratic
parapet is too high and thick, but can repair when put colours
beam in front isn't rounded in another end

The reference is very good /must find some like this :(/.

in outdoor tileset maybe pine must be biggest or need more diferent sizes of trees for more nice look

Welcome, I'm a new guy too. lol
And coincidentally, I'm working on some game stuff too myself.

Anyway, I like how chunky things look too. Especially for stuff like the steps and rocks.
But right now, I think the it's lacking of colors. Perhaps this is due to game restriction, but still... thought it's good to point out
