Just checked the thread and Sutte Hakkun looked interesting gameplay wise. And it IS! Super awesome puzzle platformer. GFX are OK and serve the purpose well.
There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.

Seiken Densetsu 3 is always simply incredible. To this day I gasp secretly inside myself (and you're not allowed to tell anyone that!!! It's our little secret..) when I look at the worlds these people managed to build with just pixel-work. The fact that it is so old is even more intense; people like me still wish we could be just as good.
