Cubist Cube(Cubism or "The Square Dunce")

on: May 24, 2008, 08:14:30 am

Well, I tried something ala Helm's avatar and Ilkke's work.

No references (because no internet, hfff).

Any help getting the effect "cubist" pieces have?
"Baboy" is Filipino for pig.

:O

I'd say stick to a 16x16 gridlock and go from there. I'd imagine banding lines would help bring attention to the squarey-ness of it all.

I don't think YOU'RE a good idea!

Nah, I could very well be very wrong, but my head says that if you're trying to accentuate the square-ness of it all, banding lines would definitely bring that to attention.

I suppose gridlines is a more appropriate word than banding lines, but hey, I've never seemed like I knew what the hell I was saying before, why start now  :D

Definitely not banding. Much better, and a peachy keen idea. Though I do prefer what Baboy has right now. ;)

Yeah i think the grid lines idea is pretty good, as long as you dont go overboard.
I know this isn't to relevant to your cube look problem, and maybe you just havent gotton around to it yet. But:

dont forget to AA  :D
