here's an update....Better? worse? I thought splitting the rock in two would help understand that it's liquid coming out of it...which I havent drawn in yet!

I also brushed in with white the posible path of the snake O_o

@:Conceit: As seeing I just got off work, with dishes to do, I'll right a proper response in a little bit.

Oh, and Raytheon, I do believe your couple of hours are up. Tile 15 should be up tomorrow bout this time. (Hopefully done, but, I will take crit especially if it needs it. Which I have no doubt it will.) I'll go with something much simpler and cleaner this time. And hopefully keep in focus.

computer crashed
and though psp7 usually recovers most if not all of the open files because it crashed twice in a row i only have the first half of the images (generally i have about 200 images open at once, i'm too lazy to close any)

if you do 15 xhunter ill work around it to do 37 and/or 38

@Raytheon: Hey, that's cool. I was going to put up a pencil sketch but I couldn't find my camera cord.  :yell: Instead of going home in the afternoon, I instead ended up working ALL DAY LONG! At least 10 hours! However, I have tomorrow off, so I should have time to work on it. Thanks for giving me a chance to do it though. Hopefully, it'll be simple. Imagine what happens after black hawk down only it takes place in a frozen mushroom forest.  ;)

@Conceit: Okay, first of all, lets take a quick look back at my edit.

Remember my edit at section 2B? I think you still have a bit of a problem there. Since your trying to Merge the lava and the ooze together to make the black liquid, this would have been the place to do it. I see a few drippings of ooze transforming the rock into black. I think that section 2A, the tile that wasn't yours that I edited, would be a good ref for that. I think one of the bigger problems that I have with your tiles is, I want to use the term Flow for some reason, but that doesn't sound right either. They still are a tad bit confusing though. Especially your lava flow section. Great place to merge with the ooze and blackish blue liquids together. However, it seems, a little, dull. Compared to the snake which is bright, vibrant, and active. The lava...looks like it's pouring up or its a red octopus. Try and have the contrast match the guys snake a bit and it'd look much more convincing I think. One of the other minor problems, is those open, black spaces. Either give them a background inside like a cave tile, or maybe something like a star space.

It still looks much better though. And, by the time I've written this, I'm sure you've worked on it a ton, added those liquid flow, and worked on the snake path. So, hopefully my small crit here will be moot by the time you post it up. Looks good!  :y:

(Oh, and you should at least merge a tad with the overhang of tile 23. Just to make the tile merge. And I still think there's a tad enough space there to have the snake come coiling around the back side of the mountain. It is made of liquid after all. :))
