GBA SP

on: March 21, 2008, 03:08:22 am

By kenex15

This is a recent one...its ok but not very good (was done in a hour and a half).  I used my SP as the basic outline and the shading.
I will update this...or i'll try anyway. NOTE: this is my actual work (didn't steal it). I'm just not use to using ImageShack so...anyway  :blind:

C&C please  ;D

(will someone let me know if i'm supposed to make two topics in one day...don't want to get banned here...)

UPDATE

UPDATE 2
This somewhat better? And what do you mean by highlights?

Here i've got the side of the SP.  I'm working on the frontal and sky view of it now. (btw i'm using paint so it won't look the best).

Seems like everyone is doing a GBA SP nowadays. I think this could benefit from a different palette, especially one with a bit more contrast, maybe some lighter blue. Some of the lighting isn't quite right either, being inset, the area around the buttons should have a shadow on the other side, and I'm really not sure about that big shadow. (Also, some highlights could help too.)

Here's an edit, to show some of what I mean.
