[WIP] Woman.

Hi
I'm working on a walking woman lately..
I've also posted it on PJ, and I've got some comments that it looks more a man then a woman..
That was on this piece;

(You may comment on the shading as well :) )

After that I changed it into this;

But is that any better or not at all?

I really need some help I think :)

Try bringing the left side of the torso in a little or move the hips to the left to make the hip stand out some more.
It also looks like the right shoulder should connect to the neck at a lower point. Also, the hair will help alot to make it more womanly I think so might wanna throw down some placeholder colors there for now. :)
Oh yes naked women are beautiful
But I like shrimps more haha ;)

What you have is a good start, just a few things.
- game art is full of big tits, so you might aswell use that fact to make her breast slightly visible which will make it obvious shes a girl.
-thinner and more graceful limbs can be a trademark of the ladies, use this to your advantage.
- in your version her shoulders were quite broad and sturdy, make them a bit more curvy and graceful.
- smoother shading can also help in bringing femininity.

I think he might have meant, "Game/comic art tends to exaggerate anatomy in various places, in turn helping the player/viewer to immediately recognize a character. Large boobs are a sign to the player/viewer that this character is a woman, and no one will question their gender."

I think having the breast show is a good idea. Nice soft curves will accentuate the femininity of the piece.

Since it was already mentioned, I guess I'll also state that that's terrible reasoning to put big boobs in there. The rest of Ryu's points are good and seconded, though.

Looking at the pose, it would lead me to believe that the breast, uncovered or not, should be visible.

The size doesn't matter (unless the woman is extremely flat chested), as some tissue would show. When your arm is raised, your pectorals are stretched, thereby your breast would follow in the direction of the arm.

I think Ryu's breast is a bit too big, but only by a few pixels.

I say yes to the breast. It doesn't even need to be uncovered; but you should be able to see, at least, a curve where the breast is.
