[WIP] Hoplite -Update 2-

I think I'm almost done, I just need to adjust the shield a bit and finish up the spear. C + C greatly appreciated. Best viewed at 2x, IMO.



-UPDATE-

Stretched out the body, shrunk the head, finished the spear (I think), modified some of the colors, finished the shield (I think).



-UPDATE-

Darkened the base yellow, tweaked the shield, and reduced the color count by 2 or 3. There's still 2 colors that are hiding, a mere point or 2 lighter or darker than the rest, that I can't find.

Just scrapped the shield and cheated using the circle tool (no shame!). It's finished, unless anyone has something to say about it.

nicely done! few things about it -

the yellow you are using is so light you might want to consider a step darker shade.

you have enough shades to do a bit of AA on the interior jags

the shield is a bit big, remember that the hand should rest near the bottom.  the aspis is made different from most large shields by it's ingenious design that allows it to be picked up or hung from any side:

Cool, thanks. The shield is causing me a lot of problems, because it takes up a good portion of his left side and moving it around screws everything up. The new update makes it look slightly smaller, what do you think?
