First pixel art ever [WIP]

Well, I'm a total noob here and this is my first pixel art EVER, I have never done one before. But be hard on your critique! I want to get better as fast as possible. But please make sure to not insult.



It's some sort of Ben Franklin floating thing, with a light bulb.

Keep in mind that this is a WIP, I will be updating as soon as possible with the AA, shading and hi-lights.

It'd be easier to critique if you attempted to shade it.
Since it's pretty much line art right now, that's what I'll critique:
(Our) left eyebrow should portrude from his forehead, or you should make the right one stick out less.
Also, I can't tell what's going on with his lips. I think you should work on clarifying that.

Oh, and like I said in my first post, this is a WIP, I'll be updating with shading later.
