From the look of the reference picture, Blame (not sure who that really is), seems to have a smaller X. The picture overall could use more contrast. And please, please, PLEASE, don't pillow shade. (no matter how much the reference image tempts you to.)

Also, I'd prefer, as a FLCL fan myself, if you used a ref pic from the actual show. But that's just a whim.

Hmm... If I recall, the FLCL robot in the show was much more angular...Well, not angular like "/\/\/\," but an organic kind of angular...
Whatever.
Who's the shiny red-haired chick? Looks loyal to the reference, but, as C.A.G. stated, it's very pillowy. It could also benefit from using alot less colors and more contrast.
