what? no! you've completely frontalized it!

someone's going to have to illustrate but i don't have a scanner or adobe.  would someone with access to either care to demonstrate the basics?  if not, i'll just MSPaint something up....



best i can do with shitty rasters; but you can see how he's pushed the vanishing point far, far away (at least 5 times outside the picture frame by my eye) so that the perspective subtle, yet so very real. it sets the house far in the distance, the feeling heightened by the vignetted foreground which establishes seemingly infinite distance from viewer to focal point.  the original illustrator - he's really quite good.

nobody is yelling at you.

however, i can see from the latest attempt that you haven't yet been introduced to linear perspective, and until you have a good hang of it, you probably should not get into architectural drawing.  there are many online resources for perspective theory, better than any of us can write. Google.

Well thanks for the help I think I'm gonna try and start on some detailing and color now.
