i really like this aa-technique, its very easy to produce something that looks like a rendered vector shape :P

in my opinion it looks much more than a pixelled symbol with blur filter. You can use this technique to simulate some glow, but with a 1 pixel radius of this glow you can't see a difference from ordinary blurring, so I would just drop that.

hm, you're right. it looks blurred.
But why not use a rendered vector shape?
makes more fun to draw ;D . else if i would use vector things, the renderer would crash the details, so why don't pixelate it ;) ?

i dont like how you changed the frame of the Pixelation one...i know it matches the shape typography a bit more but idk :(
and the E of the rare looks like an L when blurred out (pixeled, of course)
