This pokemon kicks ass. It's a bit of a shame that the battles in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire weren't something like in Golden Sun, so when you encountered Groudon it could have been one awesome battle D:

Great work dude, I love the texture.

Maybe you could do a bigger flame, that would be cool...and animate it.

 Really good pixel there man. The flames should be bigger so it'll look cooler.

Very nice; the shading on its neck is especially appealing.

The rest of its body would be more satisfying than a bigger flame, IMHO.

I like the small flame...I don't know why though. I'm not familiar with pokemon, so I can't really comment on any of the shape, but the one thing that sticks out to me is the lack of teeth on his upper jaw. The rest of the body would look good too.
