[WIP]Gotta finish...

Okay, well this is my first attempt on a RPG sprite

Front|Back
Okay, firstly I have no idea on how to shape the head, but i will work on that. I want it not the typical sprite more human like except the big hands.
need some help on making the colors work together effectivly. uh, Im not sure on how to make it walk (ps. dont have any animating program)
Ill also work on the sides as i have time, so yeah CC. as much as possible. please and thanks  :D

Needs more contrast, make the darker colors darker and the lighter colors lighter.

I know what contrast means, but when i add more constrast it turns out looking even worst.

lol, Ill fix that in the next update, really need some suggestions on how to do the head and some color suggestions.

I think the newer colors are better.

The waist makes it look like a woman's, but the lack of a bossom says otherwise.

On the head, I think you're going in the right direction sans the ears.

Just try shading it, and we'll see then if it's looking ok.

Okay, update.

the head seems small is it???
edited the colors, tried making it have smaller hips.

On the front view, where the hips attach to the legs, there seems to be a seam (haha, wordplay), like a doll would have.
I don't understand the reasoning behind the abdominal shading.

Okay, Updated!
Love the dress up InvaderLupus.
Well I stretched it out a pixel so I could make it a bit more realistic appearing.
I also made the shading nicer, lengthened the head. Uh... changed the darkest color a bit. But mainly I edited the anatomy.


Also my first attempt with hair. I have to cloth it still.

EDIT:

contrast and highlights (all thanks to Vans, he helped me a lot these last updates)
yeah.. so crits welcome gotta work on side views and animations next I suppose

So yeah.. well I need to finish this so I thought mine as well post what I currently have an tell you all what I'm having trouble with..

Ignore the box around the head.. I was going to try something but I didn't.
The main trouble I'm having is making the anatomy look any bit correct, though its failing.. well if you all can point me in the right direction I would LOVE it.
I took such a long break. :'(

at the moment, he is overrendered and doesn't really read.  try simpler shading in regions
