Love your scraps. Really love your scraps. And Jesus.

My only critique (and I'm so new to this that it may be dismissable) is that the beams on the cross look a bit thick/deep. And the connection between the beams shows no signs of joinery.

Love the word play on Croc/Croquet; and the pic.  ;D

I love that crocodile. Especially the palette. :D

I think the biggest problem is how flat Jesus looks. To make things look cylindrical, you should use darker shades towards the edges. The shoulder looks a bit odd anatomically, and the arm doesn't bend the way it should. The fingers look a bit awkwardly placed at the moment, too. Hope this edit will give you some ideas. :)

Edit: I think I'd also tone down the wood texture a bit.

Heh, looks like Arachne beat me to the punch while I was in mid edit frenzy. It's a quicky, but I'm sure you'll get it. Obviously the Y shape you got going on with Jesus is a little too...well, Y shaped. When the arms are raised like this, the shoulders tend to bump out. Also, Jesus always seems emaciated in all those necklaces, so why stop now, ya know? The abdomen was too clean for my taste, and needed some livening up.(I'm sure during all his time spent with saving the lepers, he wasn't doing his 200 crunches a day.) Also, the hips should be slightly leaning due to how his feet are positioned, in my opinion. There's a lot more to be said, but most of it is just anatomy type issues(not that this edit exemplifies it's perfection.). I wouldn't focus on the coloring skills of mine either, as I said this was a quicky to show the simple issues.(didn't finish the leg edit)

Hope this helps! :)

I love you both.  Both edits will help immensely, thanks.  And don't think your previous dragon edit will go to waste, Arachne, it will also be completed.

More needs to be done to this, but I'm at a loss as to what.  Suggestions?

why is the ceiling so high? bring it down and you'll be able to call it done
A mistake is a mistake.
The same mistake twice is a bad habit.
The same mistake three or more times is a motif.

i dont think the ceiling is too high... I think the doors and windows are too short, which gives that illusion.

If he stood up he would probably be taller than the door.
it might be a one shot deal

good point, measured against that guy's head the wall is only about 6-7 feet high, and the desk is knee-level.

that being said, i don't like the high walls or the character, and i do like the furniture.  I think the character needs to be removed/resized and the ceiling dropped.  this is less disruptive too than enlarging every furniture piece especially when they are the better-drawn elements.

My attention span is awful, anything other than small or simple pixels eventually is forgotten for a loooong time.
That being said, I actually finished something:

Little characters keep me entertained long enough to complete.  Suggestions/crits/comments?
