RPG Character Pixel art

Hey, I'm new here and also new to pixel art. 

This is still unfinished but I would like others to comment on it to see how I'm doing.

Owww. This is actually a pretty good piece, except you saved it in jpg. That's one thing you never do in pixel art.. Do you have an earlier version that is still untainted?

Yea, I edited it and replaced it with png version

I did an edit of the first sprite to show you what would look less goofy and better. The side view looks great then when he goes forward he looks like a crazy goof ball. Here:

Yes isee what you mean, bu why did his eyes became like that?

Because you could hardly see them before? This is just an example, use what you like from it and disregard what you don't.
