Yeah, the waves are basically the only part of the lineart I've yet to clean up, I'll keep that in mind when I do.  I'll post an update soonish, promise.

Soonish is relative.  Sometimes I lie.  Sometimes I have the attention span of an A.D.D. ridden goldfish.

Yeah, so not too significant an update, I've been working on other things, after promising myself I'd focus on this.

Good!
But the color on face capitan be better in older version. And remember, waves around Kraken must be a very huge because he is not small animal, some of this weaves must overflowon on deck of the ship, and ship on first plane maybe more slope - just for bigger expression.

Good ideas, I'll definitely implement them.  I agree with you about the captain's face colors, I'll try to fix that by next update aswell.

Doublepostupdate

Getting better.  I don't think I'm going to give half a damn about my color count this time around, but go ahead and point it out if any are being wasted.  Some areas still heavy WIP, some only minor.

The second brightest orange shade could stand to be a bit brighter.

I'm not really feeling the iso parts of the boats. Everything else rocks though.

I really like how the sea is blue, and all the focal points are red.
