That was like ripping off Tsugomo's tutorial.

Didn't he say he used a tutorial to make this?  ::)

OK, now that you made this, there is not much you can gain from our critque on it, since it is pretty much a copy of Tsugumo's.  Now try making something original and post it here, you'll benefit more from a critique on that.

What is your point, dragon?

I think it's clear Orclaeder is not trying to pull one over us, he just doesn't know where to start.  Like I said earlier, Orclaeder, you won't benefit much from copying things pixel by pixel, it's better to try your own original things.

He said he used the tutorial, and so now what I think you should do, Orclaeder, is edit your current sprite, perhaps a new hair style etc, and make it your own.

I ackowledged your first post saying you followed the tutorial, and I believe now what you should try to do, rather than dwell on your inexperience, is to give the edits another go.
If still unsuccessful, ask to help, by posting them here.

But, yeah, saying ripping was a little out of order.

We're not trying to be mean to you or anything, but you clearly don't understand the meaning of copying.  If you draw something from scratch, but you make it look the same as the thing you're basing your drawing on, it's still copying.  Back before printing copying used to be done entirely this way.

Just start drawing.  What sort of thing are you drawing it for?  What's the character like?  What's the perspective of the background?  Keep that in mind while you draw.  Knowing those things will help you decide things like style, size, and what sort of animations you need.  Once you've got a good standing sprite, use one of the tutorials to help you make the walk.
