Tried to twick colors a bit, i'm not sure it is for good or worse.=)

Bring back the text!
The spear is much more readable now, which is good, but this new colour scheme is too dull for the comic nature of the piece.
So in that regard, I prefer the Blue and Yellow.

I like how you changed the wing on the new version, but I definitely prefer the blue/yellow color scheme.
Also the spear on the new version doesn't look like it stabbed through the dragon in my opinion.
And yeah bring back the text.

maybe you could add some effect on the cape of the knight? it seems that its windy in the pic because of the breath

I prefer the second one two.. but I can't say the first one is bad... the design of the dragon doesn't look very cartoony, so I like it with the new colors, but actually the drawing is kind of joke, and for that part, the first colors work better imo..
(but if you remove the text, yep the new colors are better, it just looks more adult.. )

About color scheme i like both )) Just first is more funny, but please put text into smog
I am mark pieces a red line, when in older version look it better, in my opinion.

The breast with stomach great nice playful line in blue-yellow, but in last edit you emphasize this line too much.
Me like his bone on shoulder and elbow - it's compatibility with his head, which crowned many bones.
His foot have more readability early (now too much shadow).
And scales in begin tail have intresting flash. And light scales (on yellow-blue) have flash look as reptile - it's good!

Guys, thanks for replays. 
I think I like first colors version as well, I will just try to fix it tonally and maybe simplify some textures to get to cartoon level. Text will be there only in a cloud insted of being stroked - just not get to it yet.=)
