This is my second attempt at pixel art. I have yet to think up of an idea on what to put in that backyard area by the pool. please crit.

I have to say the random noise for Grass and cement isn't working for me, look up some tuts on Isometric grass and such.

yeah it does bother me too, but i really have no idea how to go about texturing cement and grass.

The noise is indeed something to get rid of. Try tiles with nice 1 pixel shading. Perhaps for the backyard a basketball pitch or a barbecue party are useful?

I guess since im a complete beginner and totally new to pixel art it seems perfect to me lol

The car is too small in proportion to the people. They wouldn't be able get in it without curling up. Make it a little bigger and keep in mind the size of the people.

Knock a wheel off the front of the car and go for a reliant robin. Then the size is perfect And i think a tennis court in the back garden! Or practice grass textures by putting a lawn and some planters in.
