Thanks everyone. Added one color like fools edit suggested, making it a nice full 8 colors including transparency.
Tried keeping the lightsource and the big feathers and made clearer differences between materials.

Real nice Fool, your edit was very educational and i tried studying what you did....btw, it might be pixels playing with my head, but i swear your edit looked different yesterday.

I'm working on this during breaks at work so it's a bit slow, but i'll start doing hammard as well.

No, you're ok, that's me - just hard to stop on something that cute.=)

Great!  I'm trying to find something to crit and having difficulty...his left (our right) wing seems a little bit anemic compared to the beefy other one gripping the hammer, and the angle of the lines on the side of the hat may be *slightly* extreme - that's all I can see.  Fun character!
