WIP - demon/fighter

on: March 04, 2007, 11:52:51 am
Havn't posted here in awhile (or much at all actually).  These are both in quite in need of some revamping (pixel doodling in the middle of the night).  Any suggestions would be very helpful.  I'm trying to work with very minimal colour pallettes.  I really want to redo the entire lower body of the demon when i'm a little more conscious.  I just realized he now has T-Rex arms... ugh...

Both of your characters seems way off balance.

I have always had trouble attempting dynamic poses without them looking either awkwardly stiff or off balance... I had more structure in my original line-work, but the designs changed so much after I started working on them that unfortunately the poses did as well...

If you could offer me some suggestions on how to improve the balance of these (even with stick-men drawings) I would really appreciate it...

The legs in both of them are what is bothering me the most.
