[WIP] my take on mermaid

on: February 27, 2007, 05:38:32 am
I've lurked on this forum for way too long. Time to start pushing pixels (and putting school work aside).

How's the anatomy? I'm mostly just concerned with the shoulders/arms. Otherwise I think the lineart is sound. And to proceed from here?

that reference thing is TERRIFING. but, this mermaid looks more like a merman, which in my opinon is pretty cool, make it like a warrior merman..anyways I like the lines, keep it up :)

Terrifying? More like awesome. I love her.

Err... On the actual piece...

Hands look fine, but the (Our) left arm looks squiggly. Like her arm is broken or something..
Oh yes naked women are beautiful
But I like shrimps more haha ;)

Im loving these lines, very dynamic.

Did an anatomy edit, and tried to make it look more feminane

Rounded and raised the breasts
Added coller bones
Shortend arms and gave them more shape
Rounded head to make it look more feminane
Slightly widend hip... tail.. thing.
Messed around with the shoulders abit

Oh, and welcome to pixelation :)

The card sucks, though  :-\
I like it thus far, would like to see more details. The lines seem fine in my opinion.
