[WIP] Minish Cap People

on: February 25, 2007, 02:44:48 am
I started a thread for sprite requests at Zelda gamemaking forum and got bombarded by 40 requests...  The thing that every one wanted was townspeople, so I started on those first. You might notice they have ears and hands cut off because they have to be in 16 by 16 tiles.
Got any good advice for making sideviews? I hate making those for rpg-perspective.

I'm unsure if it's really that effective, but an easy way to make a side view is to take a front view, erase one of the eyes, and move the feet and arms to the middle (don't forget to move the hair accordingly).

As for the sprites already, I'd say they are pretty good.  Nothing really to critique, though personally, I'd raise the contrast a bit, but that's just me being me.  Good luck.

yeah, maybe a little more contrast...

and minish cap characters tend to be a little more bright colored and cheery looking.
