Hello all, this is my first post on these hallowed forums. I haven't placed a pixel in a loooong time and you guys got me really inspired to try again, especially with your 'you can do better' attitude.
Obviously it's very much WIP...
It started life as a pencil sketch I did a few years ago. I've always wanted to colour it in, and I figured now was as good a time as any. Originally it was double the size (600x600) so my first attempt yesterday was pretty awful. I started again this morning at a reduced 300x300. I can't remember how long I've been sat here, but my wrist really hurts and my fingers are kinda clawed into the shape of an IntelliMouse.
I'm using the freeware version of Ultimate Paint, because I used to use Deluxe Paint on an Atari ST many years ago and this was the only software I could find that approximated
that old duffer. If anybody knows of a better package to use though, I'd greatly appreciate it. UP is really clumsy with palettes and it's been really bugging me all day.
Other than that, I'd be grateful for any of your expert wisdom in the 'way of the pixel'. Thanks.
