Need help with a car

I started drawing this car, and while I like the lineart, I'm not entirely satisfied with the coloring of it. Anyone have any advice?

and an older version of the car along with a city tileset I've been working on:

I much prefer the older colouring (the one alongside the tiles).  The new colouring job looks much too soft, whereas the old one looks sleek and metallic.  I think maybe some brighter highlights would do the car justice, i'm not sure.

you're right. I went back and added the brighter highlights and I think it looks much better like this
