This is looking goodso far, and it seems to fit the 'style' you've gotten started wiyth your avatar, but it looks somewhat pillowshaded. Try making another version with a lightsource in an extreme corner. As for the arms, don't give them outlines. Use a few pixels of the darkest color on the shadowed edge, but as bits get smaller, so do the amounts of pixels of each color. Try giving him really long fingers like a gecko or adding a bionic claw maybe.

He does look quite pillow shaded, and he's REALLY jagged, it's decent, but could use some work.

how is he now? i tried to give him arms, with 2 fingers bit they look like claws.

can someone try to do what i did(look on right) and block the color red in the shape of arms(possibly with his hands on his waist)?

*please reply*

I still think he looks a little grainier, and Stwelin's arm edit is freakin' amazingly AWESOME :D

mmmm... i don't think the arms are the issue. his legs are in a very unnatural position, maybe try putting them on the same horizontal plane, and less spread apart. just tweak em until it looks natural (unless of course he is supposed to have his foot up on something.)

How's this?

Seriously though, we're here to help you improve, not do your work for you.  Asking for an edit once in a while is one thing, but I think repeatedly asking us to make a new pose until you get one you like is a little ridiculous.  If you're not sure how to make his arms cross, go stand in front of a mirror and cross your arms, and carefully look at it.  Or look at pictures online.  You'll improve so much more if you do that instead of asking someone for help whenever you get stuck.

EDIT:  You say you've tried crossed arms a lot.  Show us!  Then maybe we can help point out what's giving you trouble.
