hi all tis ma first post here. lol sos im not the best at introducin myself^_^
any way im 15 male from teh uk an im really gettin in to the style a pixel art n stuff so i made this i copyed the "RAcast" from pso
any crit would help ty  :P

Oh, man, I love PSO :D

Anyways, it looks pretty good so far but his left hand is too short and the hair is flat on top. Shade it and I can crit further.

this is ma shaded version the light source comin from his far left but im have bit troube with that.

any thing would help

try making the colors a little less saturated... but not too much!

I suggest shading and definitely, definitely decreasing your colors' saturation. You mihgt want to start with something smaller to get down some basic skills before moving on to larger pieces.

ok ive de saturated it a little bit and ive had a go at merging the shades of colour aswell

ive got better view wt to do nx time ^^

The shading doesn't have enough contrast from the base colors to be noticeable.  I don't think pure white highlights are a good idea either.

It's a HUmar. In any case, I'd suggest looking at fighter sprites (your basic King of Fighters and Capcom types) as better inspirations. Your colours are way too jarring, if you'll notice in the actual art, they're warmer, more orange with brownish shades than burn-your-retinas red and yellow.

If you're just getting into pixel making though, it might be better to start on easier things. There are plenty of tutorials listed for your enjoyment.
