Some tiles

on: November 25, 2006, 11:24:10 pm
Well this is the first time I've tried to do some tiles with some hue shifts and such, and I'm not sure how they turned out.
I plan on expanding on them, but I want to be sure that this is working out before I keep going. Anyways, open to critique.
Current problems I personally have with them:
I can tell the grass growing up against the rock doesn't look right, I need to fix that definitely.
Not too sure about the dirt.

The dirt is a little too griddy. I can see the same pattern again and again.

Ok, super quick edit. You should darken the area where the dirt transitions into the grass. I also did a bit of work on the rock because I was a bit confused on the lightsource. Hopefully my itty bitty edit shows what I mean.
