It's always my advice: Do some traditional art time drawing some skeletons.
Copy them as hard as you can, 1:1 line-to-skeleton-bump drawings. Every single fiddly lil bit, best as you can.
After one or two of those I guarantee you're going to have a better eye for what's right and wrong, even if it'll be a bit of a slog.
If nothing else, do it for skulls. Skull structure is HUGE for anything since people will always pick up on if something's wrong with a face vs the rest of the body, aye?
