need help with the shading of the ear

hello!! i have been trying to shade this ear already for a while on several ways but keeps looking weird. i have googled for a reference but can't find one that is easy to understand.
if you have any other tips to improve this creature i would love to hear.

Think about the structure of the ear. Usually, the ear is hollow and thin, so you can shade it like the inside of a cylinder or a cup. Fennec fox example with nice, big hollow ears.
It looks like you're also going for ears that droop a little at the top. That's just the corner of the ear folding forward/down a bit.
