New to this deal.

Just did this yesterday, my first stab at pixel art ever. Read through a lot of the the post on here (which are amazing) to try and get an idea of how to approach this. Not sure if I am doing this right, hopefully! Looking forward to posting more and creating some neat stuff in the future. * Also noted that when I  saved this image into a GIF some of the colors look distorted, i'm using graphicsgale and not sure if that has anything to do with it? ??? Thanks! - Matt

Why not to save as JPG... EVER: The number of unique colors in the current frame is 1227.
Save as PNG or GIF, and don't use semi transparency brushes(If you did, can't tell with a JPG).
