Alone in the hill

This is just a drawing i made today, i think i needed some fresh air...  :P

It's made in MSPaint and in a fast timing so i can make some changes later.

Your lines and designs aren't bad, but your palettes are gutwrenching and hideous!  :D  Here is the same image, with 2 less colors - the figure needs new colors as well but I'm too lazy to edit him too :P



Your lines and ideas are nice but I think right now colors are the thing you need to work on most!

Ok, let's start, on Adams edit he just primarily fixed your colors. I did too but in a more deep depth level. Your shading had some problems as you can see. Since the light source is hitting him from the top left (You can get that from the way your rocks are shaded) the grass should have a shade at the right. Also the clouds shold be blocking some light from getting to the grass. I tried to not use alot of colors to keep it simple but I lighted the rocks to give them some depth.

Hope you learned a bit more from this.
